How to use wildring.studio

This page will guide you through how to use our ring designer, in 4 easy steps.

Step 1: Choose a Location

Start by finding a place that matters to you. Use the search bar to enter the name of your location.

The black box in the centre of the map shows the area that will appear on your ring. Use the navigation tools to pan, zoom, and rotate the map until you’ve framed the landscape you want.

A scale marker in the bottom left corner helps you understand distance and scale. You can also switch between light and dark modes using the icon in the top left.

Dark mode includes a satellite layer for a more textured, realistic view of the terrain. Once you are happy with the map view, move to Step 2.

You can always return later to adjust or select a new location.

Step 2: Pick a Preset

We have designed 7 ring styles that we know look good, each a modern take on the signet or statement ring style. Have a browse for inspiration, and then move to Step 3 to refine your look.

Classic Signet

Square Signet

Square Signet

A bigger, bolder version of the classic signet style.

Mini Signet

A subtler, more refined signet style with sharp lines.

Elegant Statement

Portrait Statement

Simple Band

Simple Band

A classic simple band.

Step 3: Refine your Style

Dial in your style by changing the terrain height using the slider. Increasing the terrain height exaggerates the landscape, making mountains and valleys more pronounced.

Scale Factor: gives an indication of the level of exaggeration.

Face Length: is the length of the head of the ring in line with the length of your finger.

Face Width: is the width of the head of the ring perpendicular to the length of your finger.

Band Width: is the maximum width of the reverse side band in line with the length of your finger.

Band Profile: controls the shape of the cross section or profile of the shank.

Shoulder Style: controls the curvature of the band or shank as it curves up to meet the head or face of the ring.

Step 4: Select Your Ring Size

Enter your ring size using your preferred system: English, American, European, or Asian. If you don’t know your size, use our Ring Size Guide to measure it accurately at home.

Once your size is set, your design is ready to order — a landscape you love, cast in silver.
